The South Coast Vizsla Club is a non-profit organization that operates under the rules and regulations set forth by the American Kennel Club.

South Coast Vizsla Club is 30 years old and is devoted to furthering the pure-bred Vizsla.  The club's major events include a Hunting Test weekend in January and an Independent Specialty Show in April.

There is usually a Fun Day held sometime during the year where everyone can bring their dogs out and compete in the "fun" field, show, obedience and water retrieve competitions, regardless of whether they have any experience.  The club also sponsors field training days from time to time.

Our members are very involved in training their Vizslas for show, obedience, agility and field work.  We have a training support system where our more experienced members help out the newcomers.  Our members’ dogs are very successful in all four areas - confirming that Vizslas are truly a versatile breed.

We welcome visitors to our website and feel free to call or email any of our Board for further information.
